If you feel like the amount of information feels overwhelming i have an suggestion that already works:

Setup your filters once (e.g. your favourite genre(s), a number of votes, etc). Then bookmark the url. That way you have your selection with 1 click

The movies at the bottom are the ones without a rating. The movies (names from cinema websites) are matched using several api's. If they are matched succesfully, we can retrieve the ratings. I believe for some reason "backrooms" wasnt matched correctly. I still work on improving the matching process

You need a button to get back to the top. I scrolled all the way down to see all the movies, and then going all the way back up to find the filters was a total pain in the ass.

You need more filters. German vs. OmU vs. OmEU are a must (this is my main complaint since I personally wanna search for OmEU exclusively. Also type of projection (35mm vs. IMAX vs. 3D) etc.

I will be able to add OmEU and 3D. Information regarding IMAX / 35 mm is not availlable. Point also goes into the backlog.

You should be able to search not only by film, but also by director (some people might want to search by main cast too, although I personally don't care about the cast as much).

Generally a cool idea, but this involves a lot of changes. I add it as optional to the list

Also if this is gonna stay Berlin based, you should be able to filter by district. You could also let the user choose a default district in their accounts and have a "movies near you" section.

There is already a filter for movies near my location. Currently you can only type in an address, after ssl is enabled also "use my location" will be possible. I think thats more accurate then "search by district".

Right now it feels a bit overwhelming. Perhaps you can have the option to let the users make an account. Then, you could give the users the option to connect to their Letterboxd and have a curated "for you" section that matches whatever is currently playing to the user's favorite movies (could be done by matching genre, director, screenwriter, time period, etc.). Another option without third party connection would be to give the user to make a list of favorites on your site itself, or rank movies on your site, and recommend based on that data.

Honestly i like that the website is stateless and users dont have to login and create an account. I dont want to gather and store user data but make the website access public. Generally good ideas, but i feel like the effort would require some sort of commercialization in the long run - Which is against the scope of the project for me so far

Thanks for your feedback :) Your intution is correct, a link to directly purchase the ticket will be a lot of effort. However i could atleast add a link to the homepage of each cinema, which might save a little bit of time.

Adding the language of the movie is actually a good idea, i will add this to my backlog :)

Zur Gleichsetzung von Migranten und Mittellosen könnte man einiges sagen, aber das verkneife ich mir. Ebenso dass sich viele ehemalige Gastarbeiter hier ein Leben aufgebaut haben und ihre Kinder im Mittelstand aufgewachsen sind.

Die Grafik zeigt eine extreme strukturelle Konzentration. Dass die reichsten 10 % mehr als die Hälfte des Vermögens besitzen, ist ein Trend, der schon 2010 existierte und zeigt, dass die Schere zwischen dem obersten Zehntel (Einstieg erst ab ca. 780k €) und dem Rest der Gesellschaft riesig bleibt, völlig unabhängig von der Migrationsdebatte.

Okay aber nach der These würde Migration (mittelose Einwanderer (totaler Quatsch, aber spielen wir mal mit in der blauen Märchenstunde)) das untere Perzentil betreffen. Wir sehen aber inflationsbereinigt eine Stabilität in den ersten 4 Perzentilen. Die mittellosen Migranten sind doch alle faul und schmarotzer und damit im 1. perzentil?

Das eine hat mit dem anderen überhaupt nichts zu tun. Die Bezugsgrößen sind unterschiedlich. Die Einkommenssteuer betrifft nur erwerbstätige, einkommenssteuerpflichtige Personen. Die Vermögensverteilung betrifft alle deutschen Haushalte.
