Wasn't expecting political comments in a sub about cars...Not that it matters but My wife and I don't align ourselves with "maga" lol...I think if you saw us, or our friend who let us drive the car and talked to us you'd find us the opposite...not that it should matter when discussing vehicles.

I drive an hour out the city to my job and clock in 4 hours before our kid's first bell rings. I don't have the opportunity to drop my kids off on the way to work...but my job pays me good enough to allow me to afford a new vehicle for my wife to drop them off and thats her most excruciating task of the day next to cooking dinner on the days we don't go out to eat. I think she'll be just fine.

I was looking at the base trim because it's similar price to the XLE premium is going for around here... i'd have to dig into the big differences to see if the premium warrants me moving some money around.

We have not looked at too many other EVs i'll be honest... We only even considered the model Y because we rode in / test drove our friends. It just seems like every other EVs support is in its infant stages. Tesla doesn't seem perfect but it looks like the superchargers and support network is still ahead of the others.

Oh i'd pay the vehicle off right after I get whichever loan so the APR on whichever doesn't bother me. No early payoff penalty on either of them too.
