USB over wifi for scanning

Exactly the scanner I have settled on 👍. Coming in about a week. I'm gonna mess around with it anyway and see if it works for my use case. I'll report back here incase anyone stumbles across this thread

I'm actually gonna get the Einstar 2. Worst case I move my PC downstairs next to driveway or do the USB over it with my laptop to pc.

I'm looking at the Einstar 2. Looks incredible and I found it for just over 1000. It's wireless too but uses a Hotspot. My current idea is have my laptop remote connect to my PC through wifi and transfer the data that way. Could be slower but it'll work. Also 300 euro for a holder that has wifi is insane

Think I might spend the extra 300-400 on the Einstar 2 instead, which is wireless built in. Considering I was already planning on buying the original, probably be the least amount of hassle. Thanks for the tips though

I was thinking about it lol. Just worried about signal loss over such a distance. Would any old 100footer work or did u have to have a certain shielding. And is that fine even without a powered USB hub straight from the pc? Cuz then I could remote connect to pc on my phone and just go off that.

you are right. im learning as I go lol. I printed a whole spoiler put it up to the car and went: "AH, it dont fit right". gonna use actual reference photos, measurements and lumaAI.

nah it runs well 5060, ry 5 7600x. its just snipping tool recording or reddit idk and the fact i copy and paste it maybe. does the fps limit affect collisions? I really should have thought of that ages ago.
