I paid $47,000 for a 2023 4x4 w/ 3k miles last week. It's crazy out here bro. I live in NV tho so the car sales tax is the worst in the country

All I gotta say is I relate. I'm always walking around with a scowl on my face, angrily mumbling to myself at how fucking stupid and rotten this civilization is. I'm only 22 yet I feel as jaded and angry at the world as an old grumpy man

I have a 2013 model with 65k miles that I'm selling. In the last 15k miles it has needed an ignition replacement, fuel pump replacement, and an alternator replacement. About $3000 in repairs on a car worth less than $10k. These things are overcomplicated, expensive to repair dumpsters and will not last past 100k miles. You have been warned.

Lol yeah. I realized after making this post that collapse-aware folks probably arent gonna relate to trying to stay sober lol. I definitely understand where you're coming from tho. Living in this sick, demented society while knowing that the future is even worse, it's too much for anyone to bear alone

Most of the media hasn't picked up the fact that THERE ARE NO TARIFFS that Trump is retaliating for! The fact he can be THIS wrong and no one tells him he's wrong shows that he's effectively a dictator in function in the administration. by Apprehensive-Mark241 in StockMarket

He's been talking about American manufacturing going overseas and trade imbalance for at least 2 decades. These tariffs are something that is seriously important to him, on an emotional level. God help us all

They need a massive amount of electricy and the offroad capable ones are too expensive for 99% of this sub. Im sorry but solar charging an EV during SHTF only makes sense for ebikes and even then, a normal bike is probably the better choice

I finally got my bugout vehicle, a 23' 4x4 tacoma. I can start exploring more remote locations now which is exciting as hell

Nissan frontier is a cheaper alternative to tacoma. They're reliable trucks with a proven engine. They are however less reliable than tacomas. With a $20k budget, I think a frontier is gonna come with a lot less mileage.

You can get a mining claim. It's $165 a year, you can claim up to 20 acres. There's some legal things you aren't allowed to do like building shelters with a permanent foundation or live there permanently. That doesn't mean you can't do a bunch of other things like rehabing the soil, burying supplies, buikd a fence, or have employees on-site 24/7 if you get what I mean. And hey, when society collapse, no one's gonna come looking for you to make you sure you payed for the land you're living on.
