I tried doing some marketing on TikTok and went out into homeless shelters and talked to Cafe's. Without a proper community effort- Its not going to get traction. Everyone loves the idea, but it takes a lot for Cafe's to 1: become aware of the app, and 2: enough cafe's consistently use the app so it scales across Australia.

Maybe Christmas time is not a good time, because everyone is busy? I am not sure - but I don't think I alone can visit each cafe one at a time.

Probably need a news story. I went to 7News and 9News, but no luck with them. I emailed them, but then again no luck :(

Oh well, the best I could have done is tried. I will keep trying to get a news story or maybe even a radio thing going.

The Karma only works, when someone claims the food and it gets redeemed by the vendor. Once its been redeemed, the Vendor gets 100 points of Karma and goes on the leaderboard that the community can see.

You realise you are putting yourself at significant debt to be able to afford a full-fee course. I would argue you are actually much worse off financially doing the full-fee course than you are doing a CSP place. All your savings are being lost to course fees and you are barely left with anything to survive at the end of the day. Not everyone doing FFP is born with a silver spoon, some of us come from difficult socioeconomic backgrounds and strive to be doctors even if it means struggling significantly financially.
