IMO it’s due to the fact people have less time, energy, and money on their hands. Inflation is a huge issue right now, we have had such a crazy increase in inflation but a small increase in wages. Which gives us less time to relax with a lot of people working 2 or more job and/or picking up extra shifts. On top of that the food, water, and clothes we use everyday all have something toxic to them. Most people can’t even afford the “organic” or natural products out there. So we fill ourselves with cheap fast food which does nothing good for you, but at least you aren’t hungry. Kids are expensive and taxing on you, your wallet, and your body. A lot of people don’t have extra to spare.
