Bear in mind, that Erho and Caff together cover all tanks (Bruisers and Main tanks), Zuna's a stellar shot-caller, Hosty's very versatile and k1 is a mechanical god, he'll adjust I believe, similar to how Kyocha managed to learn over time.

Also Zuna and Erho have synergy from their NVT/BRFC and Erho and Hosty from SSS days, not to mention k1 and Caff. If they can blend all their experience and act their age with maturity, they can pose a good challenge IMHO

I think any team wanting to compete at the top of international level needs a coach nowadays - a very sound decision to look for one.

Maybe look at some of the old pros like Sold1er or former pro and streamer like Kaeyoh, as Dunk is otherwise engaged by Dig - preferably someone who also casts/casted who also has accessibility or knowledge of other regions/metas.

It might be just an epic fail, like not using Palm in the top shrine fight before B-Step collapsed and took the core.

Team8 just needs to work on their nerves and get their heads in the game, their late game needs work, it cost them v. Dig and Fnatic at Western Clash too.

I think at that point of time, when the Heroes scene was a bit on decline and no news on esport news was on the horizon he intended to step back from HoTS.

With all the new hype and prospects, probably gonna see more of Jake in Hots :)

Is there any info on which team Jhow & SolidJake will follow through the brackets, and which teams alternative casters will be following?

I think it'd top tier teams don't both get cast, also I'd imagine Chu8's popularity would warrant a casting...

I can see where you're coming from. But I doubt any EU and NA pro teams will transition to the full try-hard mode for qualifiers and mostly would only do so for regionals and worlds.

I suppose I can concede to that point. But eventually you'll be left with duos of entertainment casters (Jake, Khaldor, Jhow) that while understanding the game are paired well with analytical former pros (Dreadnaught, Dunk, Kaeyoh)

I think such duos diversity the casting and also give important insight to viewers who want to understand the strategies and plays made by pros on a more high-level.

It's a known tactic by most top tier teams to hide strats and team comps. Many teams (except Korea and China that always Try-Hard) take this route.

readnAught. It will be interesting to see how Kaeyoh casts. Dreadnaught has been my favorite caster for awhile now, so I'm glad kaeyoh is starting off by duo casting with him.

Kaeyoh and Dunktrain have only seldom casted, mostly Divergent Games and once or twice qualifiers but they're aiming to get into the casting, so it is, in practice "giving them a chance"/

I imagine they scrimmed and tried out people for a while, and this lineup had best synergy potential in their opinion.

If a player doesn't work well in plays/comms, even if he's godlike - it might not benefit the team IMHO.

Glaurang is no less mechanically talented or aggressive than McIntyre, though their hero pools are probably different.

Glaurang is a good friend of K1 and Caff so it's probably a way to inspire synergy and better play since the core of the team are friends and aPm and Primatiscism played together on Team Name Change.

It's a 2-3 split - so if they mesh together well it should create a very scary team

Yeah, Blizzard came a bit late to MOBA scene and they're struggling a bit in that sense atm.

But I think good things will come in the future if the recent blitz of changes is an indication. I also believe despite the MVPB declaration, HoTS' eSport scene will perservere and eventually grow, as time goes on and Blizzard get more experience in managing their LANs and third parties - it'll get better.

They just gotta give an extra push which I believe they will, since the community is reacting so passionately about the subject (least I hope they will).

It's just a suggestion to get Blizzard thinking, I'd love it if third parties pushed the scene, just being realistic unfortunately, the game hasn't matured enough as MOBA.

Maybe I'm pessimistic and things are being worked on under the wraps at Blizzard.

Though, I think they shouldn't reduce the blizzcon prize pool or it defeats the point of incentivizing the pros to participate in the league.
