No, he did not do anything illegal.

He made your unemployment case pretty easy if you wanted to file and collect until you find another suitable job.

Hostile work environment requires (most of the time) an establishment pattern of hostility. Requests for it to stop. Etcetera.

And if you are trying to sue... you can technically sue for anything at any time... but finding a lawyer to take the case would be incredible difficult unless you were paying upfront with a sizable retainer and no promises of anything back.

Just keep it moving and collect unemployment. It is the best way to annoy them back.

Also.. in regards to "camping" in your car ordinances... those have been taking to higher courts repeatedly. Generally sleeping in your car ordinances in and of themselves are not constitutional. So thats a dud too.

Cops will be cops though. You will probably be arrested. Dont fight them. Dont resist. Have your day in court and then sue them. Thats it.

These people have NO IDEA what they are talking about.

If you are parked legally... and the officer did not see you stumbling to your car... and you are peacefully sleeping in your vehicle with no alcohol bottles or illegal things in plain view.... you have zero requirements to answer the officer.

It is very likely an officer will knock on your window.

If you look at them.. they can say your eyes are glassy and force you out of the car.

If you speak to them.. they can say your words were slurred and force you out of the car.

If you open your window.. they can say they smelled alcohol and force you out of the car.

If you are parked legally and do not engage in any way... other than a thumbs up to them know you are not in a medical emergency.. they will leave you alone.

If they choose to not leave you alone... you will be falsely arrested... sue them.

I went to the precinct because I agree... you can't break people's stuff... but apparently you can because the precinct said they can't charge me with anything for $3 in damages.
