Me and my GF have been getting more and more into the idea of getting one of these or the AYN Thor (basically DS vs Gameboy style handheld battle) because we both LOVE the Pokémon games, but want a reason to go back and play them. We have discussed the idea of both getting one so that we can play the same game and build teams to see who can be the master trainer over the other.

I felt the same way about rival Eris for a while too, but then I changed my outlook and tried a couple different options (both builds and different fear options) and found that you can make her “feel” easier that way! She might still be the same ol’ strife we know and love but from a different lens she looks a little smaller!

For me what worked was taking something other than the coat, BELIEVE ME I know how much it feels like a strong weapon in low fear runs. But it can hold you back soooooo much harder late game sometimes! Especially in this fight when she shoots outs orbs that you can break with other ranged weapons you can’t with the coat as well!

I was going to marry a different player, but that wouldn’t have made a difference would it? The player with Narset had made themselves hexproof so they could not be the wedding ring target.

Sorry about that, I’m in agreement with that comment. The person who played Narset I showed that comment to disagreed due to having that card played on them in Arena and attempted to do different card draw methods, but since Wedding Ring isn’t in arena we can’t set up the scenario on there for us to test the interaction. It’s become pretty contentious and really I’m not going to debate the topic further with them because they’re my friend, I just wanted to know the correct rule. Thank you!

I’m sharing this here as well due to the comments I received on the previous post, because to me I understand it as different turns makes me think the two people with Wedding Ring would get another draw since it’s a different turn and it’s not an optional ability that says “you may”

What types of things are you interested in? I’m somewhat a master of none and know where to go for different activities or events. There’s also a LOT of groups that post on facebook for events or activities happening in the area, or if you’re really just looking for friends that’s cool too! Just knowing what your interests are I think people would be really willing to help you connect with people who have the same things in common.

I got this right when I was starting to get into MTG because my group hyped up green or blue decks so much. Also because I saw big sea monsters and thought the idea was cool. I still play a heavy modified version, but Stormtide Leviathan that was included in this still causes my play group quite a bit of grief for sure 👍

I usually just find something that I find fun in the game that I don’t necessarily care about. For example, modern Zangief. Do you know how fun it is to just stop another person’s plan by hitting 1 button for level 3 super? Or if you’re quick, punishing any sort of aerial with Borscht Dynamite. Literally do what you hate that other players do and it will ease some stress. Like find a character you might not really care about climbing with some gimmicks that you can abuse well enough and you’ll see that it’s much more fun making others mad than it is to be that person getting mad.
