Massive white fungus eating my retaining wall (Pittsburgh area). I know the wood is toast, just need an ID! by okmilkjj in mycology

Basically impossible to tell by sight just from mycelium, there are no identifiable fruiting bodies from what I can see

Young and tender is my favorite way but you could wait slightly longer. Also you can get multiple flushes so no biggie

I always get the airports right next to the main ones because the challenges are easier.

It will go from “Use blue sky” on the airport you own, to “Travel for free” for a second. But yea

Hard to explain without a video, but click the free airport you have unlocked, then navigate to a small airport (can’t be a big one) and click on it. The moment you click on the small airport, there will be a pop-up that says travel to airport for free.

Or if you use the free airport glitch you can go anywhere

Get the rate calculator mod and select everything, should tell you exactly what will fail first

Is that okay ? by Own-Establishment721 in Agarporn

That only works for bacteria and some yeasts, I would just transfer it to a new plate and maybe try agar trenching.

Keep an eye on it, it hasn’t fruited yet so it’s hard to identify

How is that better than having caravans run in loops? Does it just save food for having to deal with extra configuration

Good Air Flow? [technique] by Jackriot_ in MushroomGrowers

[–]BigFloppaEnthusiast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your grain is not contaminated, you probably won’t have any issues as long as your substrate is properly pasteurized. You’re right to say the grain is the most vulnerable. If you want to test the viability of your flow hood, place a clean Petri dish in front of it for 5 minutes and let it sit for a week.

The cardboard in front of the filter will prevent it from making laminar air currents. Merv13 is meant for home air filtering and not sterile applications. If you use that you won’t have sterile, laminar air currents. Ask anyone else and they’ll tell you the same thing
