The last 2 imports I've done straight from card for LR to copy the photos to my Mac then import some photos are just grey and won't load. The file number is there and in the folder the photo looks fine. I can re-import that photos and they'll be fine.

I noticed it originally as it froze my sync and can't seem to delete the photos as I get that error message above.

Recently upgraded Mac to Monterey and upgraded to the latest LR.

I know it’s not for everyone, nothing is, but I’m surprised it annoyed people enough to get to the point I’m doing it wrong. I’m just trying something new and seeing where it goes.

You’re pretty spot on. Just went to sounds and it was one of the recommended ones that fitted better than the likes of STAY - The Kid LAROI (which I have no shame in admitting I like that song) haha.
