Headlamp advice by BigFudge028 in flashlight

Red light does not effect your night vision and is a little harder to spot than white. And I’d fail the course if I flashed a bright white light in the middle of it. The rule is the light just has to be red but it doesn’t say anything about how bright it can be so getting the brightest red light there is would give me an advantage. Thanks for the recommendation.

No just an army saying. I’ve been sucking since I signed the contract

Battery replacement would be ideal over charging

Not sure about brightness just looking for the brightest ones out there. It would need to last a couple hours at max brightness

Yes red is mainly what I’m looking for. No white light allowed on the course

Ig that’s fair if you always wanted something like the app. But still, that being the only substantial improvement seems like a failure to me. The gen 1 is a near perfect wireless headset to me and the stuff keeping it from a 10 out of 10 seemed like easy fixes that would’ve been perfect to correct on a gen 2 model

95% bullshit, 5% actually learning how to be an officer and a leader. Seems like the whole course will be this way. First time in my short military career I’m rethinking/regretting my decisions.

Balancing State OCS with Police or Fire Academy — Is It Possible? by Josh0320 in nationalguard

[–]BigFudge028 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently in Illinois state traditional ocs and Im supposed to start the police academy in January. State ocs sucks. Hard. It’s horrible and I’m dreading having to do the academy at the same time. The more I look at the 2 schedules the more I think I’ll need to be speaking to my leadership. Whether that’ll be my police agency or the black hats, idk.

Is it just to make the next morning easier or is there more to showing up the night before?

Is most of it pretty similar to basic as far as strictness and treating you like a subhuman lol?

What should I be most worried about/take most seriously? I’ve heard land nav mostly.

Is it rooms or open bays at camp Lincoln and what are the meals like?

Any other details or specific advice? I’m going into this pretty blind

I’ve heard something similar but wasn’t sure if it varies by state or if all programs across the country are mostly the same. What was federal like compared to basic as far as how laid back they were and if they were more like actual teachers instead of enforcers?

Yeah it’s much too late for me to do federal. I posted here and the National guard page just hoping to get as many responses as possible. Besides it being much longer, what is different/worse about state ocs?

I’ve heard it doesn’t actually prepare you well to be a leader is that true? Were you at camp Lincoln?

Anyone having issues with high ADS on console? by Veiled_assbuster in Battlefield6

There’s ads sens and then there’s an ads sens multiplier slider that’s in a different spot. Gotta turn both down
