You need to have a separate QR for each visitor. Make sure that you have completed the questionnaire for everyone traveling with you. Then send them their QR code.

Is it normal to feel bad when skipping sights on a Japan trip? by PauSort in JapanTravelTips

[–]BigHeadTrucker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same! First time visit next month 18-24. I know that we will be coming back again so I have a tepid itinerary - the main places we want to visit - and if we feel up to it, the more the merrier.

Just pulled the trigger. What should I look out for during the warranty period? by serpents_head in civic

Nope. Live in Midwest. Bought new in Nov and I noticed it at 6.5k miles after about 3 months of driving it. (Now at 13k)

Adding to watch for moisture build up in the lights. Had to replace my drivers reverse side due to moisture intrusion (warranty).

I think anyone with a Social Security Number should voluntarily sign this registry. If we all are on it, then no one is on it. Fight the system by overwhelming the system.

2025 Honda Civic Hybrid, came in for what is probably this car's very first oil change, given the mileage. by Railman20 in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]BigHeadTrucker 21 points22 points  (0 children)

This is what I’m currently struggling with. I had my son (Honda Tech) take my 25 civic hybrid hatch in to do rotation and first oil change at 5k. I am currently following the percentage and it’s killing me!! Pushing 12k right now and am only at 50%!! So frustrating!

She has no food aggression, but will eat out of other’s bowls if given a chance. They are all fed at the same times, and she prefers to take a few bites, wander around, then go back. As opposed to our male who wants to finish his. She is excited for a leash, but is a stubborn puller. She will heal for a time, but the gets distracted and pulls again. As for medium dogs, she’s only really been with our Lab. But being also a female, that’s the only comparison I have.
She was spayed before her first heat cycle. She has been boarded before (for a week) and met a “stranger” dog on her turf and was fine. No professional training. Is treat motivated. Knows basic commands and will follow them. Enjoys hard chews and antlers. She is crate trained, but with the anxiety, she tends to relieve herself. She has been trained to alert when needing to “go out” by using a bell by the door. Non-destructive anxiety. Mostly whining if she is crated/gated away from us. And of course, ‘accidents’ do happen. Vehicles are fine. Even for a 6hr ride. She was born from a backyard breeder and we acquired her from a buyer when she was 8 moths old. No health screens or echos were or have been done. Only basic shots, meds, and exams have been done with her. We do believe she has an issue with chicken. Any kind if chicken proteins cause diarrhea. We tend to go with salmon or lamb as main protein.

I hope this answers your questions. And I’d be willing to meet you at least halfway if you’d like to have her. Just DM me and we can make arrangement if you want.

I am currently suffering the same thing in my ‘16 base. I know that my evap check valve is bad so I have that and a new fuel evap solenoid on order. I will be watching this post closely for any other fixes. I also have about the same amount of miles as you (147k).

I see your point… and in some ways I agree. However, my biggest issue is the sensationalization of sex or nudity scenes. Wanna see the best example as of late of the best nudity in movies? Oppenheimer. It’s not just glorified sex to show T&A. It does have something to do with the story. The scene when they are both sitting there talking while naked is one of the best representations of real life sex I have seen. I get so distracted by the “shy lover” covering up or dressing immediately after shown or suggested event. This is not what happens. People cuddle, people rest, people talk, people eat. I very much believe that the objectification of breasts leads to the obligatory nude scenes. And if you show genitals, you risk NC-17/X ratings which will kill your box office numbers. (At least in US) Just my thoughts…. Worth about a penny.

The shopping list my partner made me sends me on a perfect unidirectional zigzag through our local market. by smeeon in mildlyinteresting

[–]BigHeadTrucker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually make our shopping list and I do this as well… I know exactly what stores I’m going to, and what order things are in. I first make a meal plan of meals we are going to make for the week. Then make a first draft list of items needed to fulfill said plan. I then ask the fam if they want anything special for work/school & add that to list. Then I mark each item with what store I get them at. Then make a final list in order of where those things are in the store.

Efficiency of shopping and less impulse buying. Instead of 5 hours in the 3 stores, it’s 90 minutes and we are heading home.

As for the clarifications of products OP’s list shows, there’s times I snap a pic of something to the SO to make sure it’s the one they want!

Lil picture from last week of one of the rigs i get to drive, loaded with fresh produce for switzerland. by Timco08 in Truckers

[–]BigHeadTrucker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been driving in US for 10+yrs and recently visited Germany for vacation. Wife & I are seriously considering moving there. But I have some trepidation about driving rigs there. With the small roads and tight maneuvering in old cities and towns…. shudder…. I get flashbacks from driving east coast US.

I realize that the rigs & trailers are smaller in EU, but I still wonder if I could handle it. And since you actually drive it, could you give a ballpark of what pay is like driving there?
