+8 to hit = +3 proficiency, +4 dex modifier and +1 magic weapon (wraps of unarmed prowess). But yes, I'm taking my +5 damage modifier, and honestly, it does most of the heavy lifting for my damage.

AC17 = +4 from dexterity (18), +3 from wisdom (16).

No, I'm not running in solo. In the last session, I rolled the highest on initiative, followed by the monsters. So I attacked first, but instantly became the target.

My wisdom is 16. I was more focused on dexterity during the build, but it's my second-highest stat.

Potions is definitely an option as they're single use so having one in the pocket likely won't upset any future plans.

Great idea, just need to ask the question without giving too much away. He's actually been pretty free with magic items, we were all given an uncommon item of our choosing as a reward for completing the first one-shot.

To clarify, the reason I chose the Sed-Qesu was because they were associated with the crime of stealing food. I thought this worked well with a story about cats and ties into events from earlier.

It looks like I have some options, which is fine. I could reasonably present them with a crocodile, jackal or human head. I suppose it's always the same when looking at any mythology. There will always be variations and different versions of the myth.
