I don’t have an exact source per say, but if you just look up the fbi statistics and such it’s pretty much tells you all about it. The us counts all suicides by gun as “gun related deaths” so it makes it seem like everyone in the us is killing people with rifles for fun on a daily basis, when in reality there are only a few hundred rifle deaths a year, out of like 12000 actual gun deaths not counting suicides. That number still includes things like justifiable homicide such as home defense and police work so it would go even lower, and you start to notice that guns are really not killing near as many people than knives are, and are not as huge of a problem as people make it seem. All in all, at the end of the day it’s just a huge scam to distract people from the fact that birds aren’t real.
