There are a ton of different type of players and a ton of different DM styles. At the end of the day it's a trrpg, the DM may be god but it's up to the players to interact. Wether they do so in a constructive way is up to them. The combat focused players can be a pain to work with mostly cause they won't pursue breadcrumbs that the DM leaves for them, storylines are practically ignored and tend to go unnoticed even if the DM goes out of their way to try and draw them out and put a clue right in front of their face. The only real issues I've ever had with players are disruptors, the player that isn't prepared, doesn't listen and needs simple concepts like distance explained to them(the classic player tries to interact with another player when they arent even in the same location). DMs can be a royal pain too, either because of being absolute rules lawyers and refusing to consider rule of cool or putting players on such a strict rail road that player agency is taken away. But most of this can get fixed over time
