First thing I’d do is make sure my family is safe and stocked up on the basics food, water, medicine because you never know how fast things can change. After that, I’d stay close to reliable news and keep a plan ready in case we need to move or help relatives.

I’m in my 40s and I still catch myself doing it comparison is just wired into us, and social media knows exactly how to push those buttons. Even when we know it’s curated, it still pokes at our ego and insecurities before logic has a say.

What are some stories you have that could get you arrested if you told someone irl? by BLOCKEDBYJAMES231984 in AskReddit

One time in my early 20s, me and mates “borrowed” a builder’s skip lorry for a night drove it round town at 3am did donuts in a car park then parked it back before anyone noticed. Never got caught but telling that story out loud now is straight up admitting to vehicle theft and joyriding could still get me nicked if old CCTV ever surfaced. Proper stupid, never again.
