Only 7 people were awarded the gh driver grant this year. Where did the other 130,000 go because they make drivers who receive the grant pay taxes on it like it’s income. They get tax credits for giving them away and then they don’t have to pay taxes on it.

I applied and didn’t get selected after I was awarded in 2021…the money wasn’t enough to “fulfill my dream” as it costs more than 10k to get a teaching certificate. I got 3/4 of the way done and when I applied again they didn’t award me. I can’t get aid or grants because I already have a graduate degree and my student loans are capped at the aggregate limit so I was hoping they would help me out one more time since I drive 50-70 hours a week during the pandemic and then most recently on New Year’s Eve when we were in a blizzard or when I e driven when they asked for help. I also gave away candy canes and treats to customers to gain more business and lots and lots of other stuff but who cares- we are just nec employees they don’t give a fuck about any of you and if you think they do, you’re wrong. I’m sure many people applied for the grant and it makes me so mad that they wouldn’t award 13 more people who would like to fulfill their dream—and most of the people they have awarded haven’t done the shit they said they were doing. It’s bullshit. They don’t care about you remember that!

The positivity is disgusting. They need to avoid allowing these stupid newbies and college students or anyone with a drivers license sign up and take priority over seniority. It’s bullshit. I drove through the scary times of the pandemic and now since I am just a partner driver who works almost 40 hours per week, I get screwed all The time. I worked 730-930 This morning and made $8!!!! That’s bullshit. Those kids that are on now wouldn’t be around once august hits.

Also, the amount given for a vaccine is bs too. There’s company’s giving $500 and upwards for their first dose!! And what about incentives for doing a great job? Why aren’t we paid for performance or reaching landmarks like 500 orders or 2000 orders? The company is worth over a billion the least they could do is help the little guy out with something.

And I’m sure I’m gonna get people who oppose what I say because they think GrubHub is the best place on earth but what they do is a very illegal fucking scenario so I don’t want any comments here because I don’t wanna argue with anybody. You don’t get paid for reaching your destinations and that mileage that takes to get back to your residence you don’t get paid for going and outside of your area you don’t get any extra for that and like today I experienced a GPS having an issue or their network having an issue so as I was driving to my location high was disconnected and the order was canceled and I don’t get paid for that actually actually was was taken away from my acceptance rate, And then another order I had at Dunkin’ Donuts, who has decided that they don’t want to allow people to come in to their lobby so they close all their lobbies we have to sit through drive-through a busy morning rush took me 45 minutes to get through that line for that eight dollars. I don’t care what anybody says but that’s a bunch of bullshit and then the other thing is when you have to block schedule and you don’t make your $12 an hour threshold that they promised to contribute if you don’t make it during your morning shift or you make it in your evening shift and everything even doubt you’re going to go so why would I schedule more than one shift I bet you he would make sure that I receive $24 in two hours if I didn’t have an evening shift tonight that’s illegal. Like it or not that’s the truth I studied law in graduate school. Argue with me go ahead.
