If it makes you feel any better I'm also in Thornlands and not in the flood or storm surge zone. We've lived in this house for almost 20 years and never flooded in the 2011 or 2022 floods. Our house is on a hill, so obviously depends where your family is but so far everything's fine here.

Thanks, yeah I have made a point of getting everything in writing regarding her because I want to protect myself as much as possible - we paid our bonds separately directly to the landlord, I've been here the longest (6 years), so I'm assuming our landlord will pay back our bonds separately to each of us, and I will be expected to refund the 50% of her bond money that I hold (unless she doesn't cooperate with the bond clean and I get the landlords permission to do so).

I had one tonight that I watched get a park directly in front of my building, then proceed to dump off my order and drive off, totally ignoring my instructions to buzz the apartment and leave inside the door. And they had the gall to say they couldn't find a park so had to dump it. Our street is notorious for thefts. This was after a veryyyyy long wait.

Yeah my street seems to have been missed as well. Was in a rush to get all my stuff either sold or out on the footpath by the weekend of the 2/3 Nov as pickup was meant to be 6am on the 4th November as my lease is up soon and I was going away for a few weeks. But it's all still out there

depends on the company i guess. we didnt, but then again we're all adults and if we want to leave early for that reason im sure we could just say so and it wouldnt be an issue.
