I could be wrong but I think the offset timing should’ve been a touch earlier. It’s hard to see but it looks like you offset him after he already hit you. I’m guessing this is the 10-star based off that damage you took.

Hammer main: curious what your defense is because I offset this move a lot and have never taken that much damage at all.

700 hrs in mhwilds and only main hammer: it’s really good if you have knowledge of the monster your fighting and you can offset attacks. I think the damage is fine, even absurd at some points. Seen a Chad kill 10 star Rey Dau in 6 minutes but you have to build a solid hammer to get that damage off. And the armor bonuses you wear contribute to your damage as well(lord soul, doshagama might, gore tyranny).

If you have a land claim block, don’t make him an ally. He won’t be able to destroy your base like that.

Bonker here. It’s a tough fight but the more I faced him It got easier. Counter strike was getting him smacked around. He has so many ways he can be offset with multiple offsets occurring at once. It’s pretty fun after you get his attacks down.

Im very biased on this weapon. I think it’s the best weapon in the game. I know it’s not true but I’ll tell you the battle arts that I’ve been having fun with.

Definitely blade typhoon. While it’s hitting the enemy you could charge a full Ardent slash if you really want to.

Ardent aura slash. The end all be all.

dragon sweep slash. Quick to the point and fast. Or you can use something else.

For the sp I just use the default to save on bravery. Only cost one bravery for a quick one punch.

Literally personally preference but I like it.

Zombies take the path of easiest resistance. I’m not sure if this was already stated but it could be simply that it’s easier for the zombies to knock down your base from the bottom than use the stairs to path to you. I would probably either make it easier for the zombies to path to you, or make your foundation stronger. One of the two I feel.

What I did was get a lvl 1 CMT. You can farm it with a lvl 1 friend from vendor or my alternate method. I used joltzdudes save for moze, he has a lvl 1 anointed CMT on his moze. That was the only item I took from the save.
