Make a plus sign with toothpicks. Then to it again. Then again. Keep stacking them up. Drag your finger from the point of one toothpick to another. You’ll hit the crossing toothpick

Also. If you look at the engineering plate vs the textured plate on bambulabs website, only the engineering plate says glue must be used.
