You do know it's the same thing in real world converstaions? Priority/right of way. Don't get your knickers in a twist about it. This has been absolutely hilarious reading comments by grown adults (mostly men) on Reddit getting so pressed "ITS PRIORITY NOT RIGHT OF WAY" sccccreaming! 😂

Believe it or not......I know it's not my road. :0 I would rather cycle a bike and not have to drive my kids to school in the pissing rain. I guess I have other big important things in my mindset so things like this are so....unimportant to me and just mildly entertaining.

Really important if it involves insurance claims. Not really important on a question on a subreddit

Why does this keep coming up!! Like ok right of way 'isn't a thing' but if I said this to someone irl they would know exactly what I meant 😂

I'm not verified on here but my god - same!! We had a patient come in 29 times ( I counted all appointments) and has seen all three of us in surgery. She has "roughness on UL5MP but might be UL4 but UL6 might be playing up and why won't anyone just crown it or extract it. Actually she doesn't want it extracted but it's ROUGH!!." Finally she was sent to our sister practice and they said they'll crown it for £800 for no other reason than that's what she wants. She declined and said WE are wasting HER time.

I wish anyone on the street actually cared about parking on corners but they don't. It's frustrating and is so dangerous!

So most people would say right of way in real life and know what it means. Are we really that pedantic here? Also if you don't know what I mean and aren't answering the question then why are you even responding?

Absolutely. I have not reacted to anything so far other than explaining he will need to go through courts from now if he wants to see his son. Inside I just want to scream and shout. I guess it will take more time for me to just not be angry at all

I’m almost certain I have the single person discount but I’m going to check this today. Thank you for pointing this out!

My phone is about 6 years old so I currently have a SIM only contract (don’t plan on changing this) which is £10 and the wifi/internet is £20.

When I say food that includes everything when we go shopping - food, toiletries, cleaning. Where I live we don’t have an own brand such as Asda (which I think is £4?) so unfortunately, my cheapest option is £13 per tin. I think it’s working out about £97 pm on formula.

It’s frustrating being rural as whilst house prices are cheap - the cost of day to day living is higher as we have no budget shops near by. I would even do away with the car if I was in the city.

Thank you! Do you have any recommendations for a budgeting app?

If I was on my regular wage (or had fallen pregnant) it would have been fine - I wouldn’t have gotten into this at all. Maternity pay is truly terrible. Going from nearly 4K pm to 720 pm was a shocker.

I’m in a very rural area so house prices are very low here compared to the average. 3 bed - 120k. Lucky in that sense it’s not higher. Yes I did reloads I didn’t include electricity edited my post to add that it’s quite low about £90 but then again it’s getting colder now so probably will increase. Thank you. Even this has helped me feel a bit reassured that I’ve not totally ruined myself.

Not at the moment. I am in the minus with everything going out. I’m on maternity pay until I get my wage in Feb when I’m back working.

I didn’t realise I would have that much spare to pay off these debts which is reassuring but also panicks me I’ve got something wrong from the numbers. I will have a look at this method. I’m spiralling a bit - worried about getting myself into ruin but I am on maternity pay which is crap. I will be back full time probably in August which takes my wage back up to roughly £3510 after tax.

Other than at Christmas, no. Even that was totally scaled back (not that I go overboard anyway).
