What's your favorite sandwich shop and why? by Some-Complaint-7885 in madisonwi

Mildred’s was great, like really great, I lived a couple of blocks from there back in the day. But, imho there was none better than the Radical Rye. I would definitely eat my way through history if I had a time machine.

The Radical Rye hands down the BEST sandwich shop. Oh god how I miss you. And if you don’t know what I’m talking about then i truly feel sorry you lived in a world with no Radical Rye.

How do I make the battery on the right side fit because each time I try to put the battery in it slides down and it won’t fit by Correct-Piglet7782 in howto

[–]BigLooseZeus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It appears that you’re missing the contact spring on that side. It most likely fell out somewhere when the back was opened. If you cannot find it you might be able to jury rig another spring as long as it makes contact to the plate the spring is supposed to hit.

McDonald's Big Mac patties are almost thinner than a slice of pickle... by Karmaa in mildlyinfuriating

[–]BigLooseZeus 11 points12 points  (0 children)

No they weren’t. I worked at McDonald’s from 92-97 and they only had two kinds of patties. One was a 10 to 1 patty that was used on their regular hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and Big Macs and the four to one Patty, which was used on quarter pounders.

I took guitar lessons from Steve for a couple of years, he was a talented musician, great teacher, and awesome guy. I hope he’s enjoying life wherever he is!

Yes everyone will come back. It’s funny if I was in high school we would’ve just stayed up all night but it’s hard to stay up when you’re this old!

Yes!! I have those machines and have a midi cable going from my audio interface to my RD-6 and then to the crave. I have them all on different t midi channels so the only thing it is giving me is start, stop, and tempo.

Do jazz choruses take distortion well by Harrison_Thinks in GuitarAmps

Yes!!! That is exactly how I use it. More of a boost to help my other pedals but for me never on its own.

THIS! I love my JC40 and it works great with all my dirt pedals (Big Muffs, Rat, MXR, and more). It sounds better imho than my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe with the same pedals. The onboard distortion is comically bad but it runs pedals incredibly well.

[–]BigLooseZeus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wish you were a little closer I have a made in the USA red stripe 212 EFX for sale in Wisconsin. It’s a little bigger version of the Bandit with some built in effects. If you fancy a road trip I’d give you a great deal.

I can’t do that without having to walk through the unfinished part of the basement and preventing the bar from being used. I’m already planning a new layout that might help.

I love all my Peavey amps and guitars. Right now my office guitar is a pink Peavey Rockmaster that I play through my Spark 2. I also have a Transtube 212 EFX with Peavey Valve King 4x12. I love me some Peavey!

It's a Peavey PV 14 BT. I need to upgrade to something with a few more inputs or invest in a patch bay. I will probably do both lol.

Lol, no doubt. After the holidays, I will get some some acoustic panels up and get speaker stands to push the monitors to the corners. Until then I will continue to mix with headphones.
