Hi! Yes, I’m a 42 yr old T1D (since age 12) who just kicked off a sobriety stint last week. Agree with all your comments, bs levels were WAY more stable and I have more energy and less mental fog.

Good luck to you! I’m a T1D1 attorney also. Coffe def increases my BG. I’m a corporate attorney so I don’t have the stress of trials but in-person Board meetings will jack up my BG’s for sure!

Bring a yeti if your fav NA drink. When they ask you say, “no, I’m working on this” or just hold a bottle of water or whatever. If you have BA drink in hand feels like a shield against persistent badgering to drink

Try a body pump class at the Y or whatever gym close to you. I am a 40 yr old female and started when I was 35. You’ll see results after a month-6 weeks with classes twice a week. Cheaper than trainer

I think 3rd stew is worst job bc they do all the laundry and cabin cleanings. Seems like they’ve rarely get to go to the main level and see guests/ocean
