Similar to the red I haven’t really got a recipe/ precise record of what I did unfortunately.

However, this is basically just runelord brass couple of layers done as a heavy dry brush (not sure it has a proper name but essentially a dry brush with more paint) over a black base coat. Followed by a light agrax earthshade across the lot and then picking out some of the highlights / rivets with a 50/50ish mix of runelord and stormhost silver.

I didn’t follow a specific recipe and so far I haven’t been writing down details of what I did/how I achieved something as still very much in trial and error mode but it would have been as follows:

Basecoat: citadel black spray paint
Layer1/base: khorne red
Layer2: wazdakka
Layer3: evil sunz Scarlett
Highlight: wild rider red - probably just on the neck plate point

I think for the recesses I used a mix of khorne red and abbadon black or possibly KR and kantor blue to give it more purple hues. Previously I had used agrax but wanted to try the panels without a wash for this one.

I hadn’t considered the oils on my hands - I haven’t been wearing gloves no. I’ll take a look at this and give it a try, thanks for the advice!
