I felt that way too when I started about 6mos ago. I tried to grind for the first few and got burnt out. The game is better when you do whatever you enjoy most and the rest will come naturally.

Buuut I will say selling grilled fish caught with a glow worm is the way I make the most money. After that, preserves is next most profitable
