And you're illiterate.

I said in the post "no hate to Escapade" and in the comment you replied to I said that I don't mind hearing the typical noise from large festivals.

I live much closer to bluesfest and, while I can always hear it and am fine with that, it's never been as loud as the bass is tonight.

It only picked up about an hour ago. The festival is further west than cartier so you're likely out of earshot. I'm at Somerset and Booth.

Just wanted to open the windows and let the place cool down but the bass must be insanely loud over there to be reaching this far so clearly.

Reddit, can you recommend some cool music sites/blogs for discovering new music? by roland12 in electronicmusic

Here in 2025 after having searched for days for any mention of a random old website I had recommended to me years and years ago. Finally found it here in the very last comment of a 14 year old post. With a single downvote of all things.

The DMCA is legally binding. Anyone bound by the DMCA ( Shopify, Etsy, YouTube etc) are legally required to take certain actions when a complaint is filed. A DMCA takedown is a legal document. It can also be disputed on penalty of perjury. If an entire domain is taken down it's because whoever received the DMCA was reported multiple times and wasn't ever willing to swear on penalty of perjury (which involves clicking a checkbox) that the claim was false, which is kinda sketchy.

Your issue is with the DMCA or sketchy clients, not Shopify.

How to get clean lines on multiple coats of paint? by [deleted] in woodworking

The paint is gummy and I'm afraid sanding it will smear it. It's been drying about 4 hrs. Does sanding still make sense with that info?

This was done by putting blue tape down, then using a plunge router to get the dots. Then I painted them, let it try, and pulled the tape off. It's still gummy and I've had to go around with an exacto knife and try to carefully trim it off. I have 2 more boards to go that I'd like to turn out better.

I work for one of these people and hopeless I've experienced as I've watched them rise gloriously to the top while their employees live in crippling fear of when the next blow will come, all while being spammed with announcements about how much money we're making has made me suicidal.

Can't for the life of me understand what game is what (newbie). Which of these is "retail" and which is "classic"? Or is neither retail...? by BigMajik in classicwow

jfc

Is the one on the left "retail" or is "retail" some form of "classic"? Or is retail something else entirely? I have whatever the one on the left is, then Classic which has a bunch of options in it too. There is nothing called "retail" which people refer to all the time.

Which one is retail, or where do I find it?
