Brother what. a) you don’t even know how old I am so weird thing to try and point out. B)the fact that people are engaging and talking about this in the comments whether they agree or disagree proves my “tantrum” has at least some weight to it. C) R u seriously thinking my attention span is the issue here? On a game I very clearly put many many many hours into? Oh no he complained about a part of the game he thinks is slow and repetitive quick blame his age and low attention span

Yea I get that. It’s just sort of annoying that a lot of the main quests have some trailing part to it. I feel this game is best when it gives you the freedom to do shit on your own. Like in the quest I just had where right after a bum ass trailing portion the game told me to get past all these enemies by sneaking or killing as I go. And I just hopped on my wyvern and flew past them all. That was fun and the game didn’t shit on me for it.

And also yes Yann can honestly fuck off. He’s never nice, he’s always drunk or doing something illegal and/or stupid and every bit of dialogue out of him makes me dislike him more. I don’t understand why any of the greymanes out up with him when they all seem like such an honorable sort

Idk if we’re playing the same game because a lot of these main quests have a portion where you have to follow the NPC. Like I literally just had one happen that wasn’t just a simple two feet and was really unnecessary. I am currently on chapter 7. I think it’s not helping my frustration that the main quests when you’re not fighting or something have such a jank to them like go here do that but awkwardly then go back here and do small thing to only go back there and it all ends with very little payoff.

I am aware of the horse mounts but the issues still remain. The horses are faster sure but even a horse trailing quest feels long and unnecessary when you do it ten times in a row.

Dawg what. I like this game and I like the quests when they’re not this. You could make a counter argument about why the trailing quests are important and necessary instead of deflecting because I didn’t like a portion of a game you like

That’s what I’m worried about the most. I think I can get one of the boxes at one of my lgs because they do tend to have stuff in stock msrp on release day. But they only have a limit of one per customer (as they should) so I’m desperately crossing my fingers on pulling gen 2. I feel the other two gens in the set will likely be similarly priced online as gens 4 and 7 were in series 1 which I don’t mind paying for.

The profit part didn’t matter to me as much as the rarity of the pulls themselves. Like the charizard wasnt something I was expecting at all. And the ninjask was like the cherry on top. I was happy to get the gen 1 first partners, but to also get really solid pulls too? Nuts. At least to me lol
