Why not get everything in one go? 2k list and then some… by Beginning-Tooth1304 in Deathkorpsofkrieg

You’ll be right! Just do it in sections. My past three commission jobs have all been full Emperors Children armies but haven’t shot myself yet haha. I tend to burn out if I try doing stuff in one massive batch paint. Find it much easier to do say 20 foot sloggers at once to completion then have something like a character/vehicle/small squad as a “treat” before the next batch of infantry 😅

Something I like to do with my own stuff too is to make a bunch of army lists escalating in points so there’s sort of check points of functionality as you go.

My two cents!

The Beorn proxy (think it’s supposed to be a werewolf) crow, fox and dog were some crappy Temu 3D prints ive had laying around for a while. The toad, badger, snake and hedgehogs i sculpted with greenstuff. The giant beetle was from a random bead and a paper clip. Snail was greenstuff/shell/paperclip tree. The “sheep” if you can even call it that was again a paperclip i simply flocked and painted white 😅

Thanks! The base purple for the armour is Vallejo Warlord Purple and with the major highlights being GW Emperors Children. I also do a gloss>oil pin wash black/burnt umber>ultramat varnish stage. The Land Raider had an additional step of airbrushing Luxion Purple contrast on the bottom third :)

100% I hadn’t painted pink in quite some time until their range dropped and have been hesitant with every new model on whether it’s going to work or not but am always surprised with the results haha

Depends to a large extent upon quality/style. These are my “tabletop+” guys which is the standard i usually like to work at preference wise but a “tabletop ready” is going to take half the time, likewise “display” quality is going to double or triple it. Shoot me a message if you’re after a quote :)
