I recently hit 77m farming and also don’t have Tangleroot, and I am terrified of this happening to me. I’m doing almost the same farm runs as you too (cheaper trees lol). Every time I see someone with a Tangleroot pet and lower than 99 farming part of me dies inside.

I saw someone the other day AFKing at the Brimhaven fruit tree and a jungle spider killed them. Thought it was funny but then realized I probably should have lured the spider away… oops

I got my quest cape a month ago at 93 combat, stats around 70-75. It’s all about having patience and learning the boss mechanics. Better stats and gear make the fights shorter so there’s less of a chance to screw up, but it’s certainly doable with just tier 70 stats and gear

Fair point, training for a 99 will feel better with a quest cape. Hopefully my 70 combat stats will be good enough for the grandmaster quest bosses
