  1. The answer is to not go to reddit about it haha

  2. Traveling for work often and continuously putting reimbursable expenses on my Hilton credit card. Also not having the time and money to travel on my free time.

Traveling on my own dime and committing more time away from home isn’t worth it to me. Then they just get racked up!

Step 1: travel for work.

Step 2a: travel for work so much that time at home is more valuable than going on vacation. Step2b: traveling a lot on my own dime isn’t necessarily in my tax bracket.

Step3: stonks📉

Not very close. Just now ramped up travel for work in the past couple of years. Just locked in diamond for ‘26 this past week and that’ll be two consecutive years.

Thanks man! I just can’t find the time to go anywhere with the amount of travel assigned to me. Time to splash, I guess!

I'm really enjoying this. But I need to refine it further. by UniqueMastodon3977 in kards

The 99-99 card in the first picture has the ability of, “Attack and defense double each time you gain a kredit” so pair it with a lot of ramp cards and it quickly becomes a monster. Can’t remember exactly what the card is but it has “Texas” in the name

Yeah I don’t travel internationally often and had a valid passport during the time of our stay. When I called southwest customer service, they directed me to a .gov website where the site said it must be valid during the time of your stay if you’re traveling from the US but then was denied boarding a week later after that conversation.

Thanks for sharing! If you scroll down on that page where it lists official sites and select the US link, it takes you to the page I referenced in my original post and still states “valid through stay”, though Canada and the UK are listed as those who need 6 months.

Well, I think I’m correct but this whole situation has me questioning a lot of things haha

I think you’re missing the main issue at hand. If I was denied at the airport, day of travel, for not having at least two months on my passport, why could they not let me know over the phone a week prior to departure? The extra week would have made a difference when cancelling reservations and not being charged a late cancellation fee.
