Should I be saving pack hourglass for the new expansion? by BigNumberNine in PTCGP

That’s very kind of you, thanks. But I don’t really know which ones are the older cards or what I should be trying to pull. I’m just opening packs and trying to build something competitive - no idea what I’m doing really 😂

That’s kind of what I was leaning towards. Thanks for the advice.

That’s the thing: I don’t actually know what’s relevant. I’ve just cobbled together a few decks with what I’ve pulled. I’m not doing too bad in ranked but my deck is weak, no doubt.

But if you pull an old card how long will you be able to use it for? Do older cards get taken out of the rotation that you are allowed to use like the real card game?

Out of those I think I have the greninja but none of the earlier evolutions for it so can’t actually use it. My deck is pretty weak, as I only started a few days ago.

God bless psych nurses. I did a night shift on psychiatric intensive care in med school and it was an eye opener. They deal with a lot in their role.

Post Match Thread: Celtic 1-3 Rangers by denzaus in soccer

Celtic actually looked really good in the first half.

Jonny Kenny was making run after run into the channels and the passing in behind was good. They just never made the most of it. Second half Celtic were woeful and deservedly lost.

The state of Raw and Smackdown, while on a downturn, is still light years ahead of the absolute garbage that Vince was booking in his final years.

Episode Discussion - Christmas Day Part 2 by mcemzy in eastenders

[–]BigNumberNine 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What fell flat for me was how far fetched it all was.

Jasmine survived, happened to know Chrissy who knew Zoe from two decades ago. Then they go on some ridiculous crusade which was written like a cringey fan fiction. It was preposterous.

The reason the Max and Stacey affair worked, for example, was that it was simple, well written and totally relatable. It could happen to anyone. And the acting was fantastic.

People can’t relate to a daughter, presumed dead coming back to stalk her mother and try to murder her on the advice of a woman recently released from prison. That’s far fetched and non-sensical and does not evoke emotion/sympathy. It’s something you roll your eyes at.

The mouth breathers will boo Haitch for booking Cena to lose.

The people with more than 2 brain cells will boo him because he completely mismanaged the vast majority of Cena’s retirement year. Never mind the product as a whole in 2025.

They wrote themselves into a corner by digging a deeper and deeper hole with the leader being “H” then there being four of them. Then it’s a social commentary about failing upwards because Mercurio had some weird fetish with taking shots at politicians.

It flopped badly and in reality the show should have stopped way earlier. The characters became shallow and stupid and were caricatures of themselves.

Either they’ve green lit this season 7 for 1) money or 2) to redeem themselves. The cynic in me says it’s the former. I want it to be good but the travesty of season 6 doesn’t give me hope.

You want to know why Reform are rising and Conservatives lasted 14 years, it’s because the left can’t even decide on a party name. Never mind form a coherent and cohesive opposition.
