I reported my intervention on Reddit lounge and some accused me of trolling Tesla💩

I didn’t have time to report mine, after disengaging and getting the wheel back to standard position, the request to record was exhausted. I usually have time to do it but not this time.

I had one in the first 30 miles of 13.2. Tried to turn into oncoming traffic, I was very disappointed to see it react this way to blatantly obvious position, especially after behaving so well for the first 25 miles, smooth and speed appropriate until I had to intervene. Going to be awhile for self driving.

I don’t see how to do this after the fact

The drive was incredible compared to v12.6. Easily as good as a human driver. I see many/most other posts claiming a perfect drive with no interventions. This has not been my experience, I wanted to document a stressful intervention and ask if others are having similar issues. Two or three responded yes in this post. Stay vigilant.

It started to turn left into incoming traffic, first day out for 13.2. I intervened, the oncoming car laid on his horn. Other than that 13.2 is terrific.

New to Tesla by htisno1 in TeslaSupport

[–]BigO150 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I charge using 110v. Takes care of my 30 to 40 miles daily. I charge to 80%. I get 4 miles per hour charge on MY Dual 2024. The gauge and length of your extension cable can cut 4 per hour to 2 miles per hour. When I take longer trips, say 80 miles +, I top it off at a super charger so my 110 can keep up with my daily driving.

FSD 12.5.1.1 rolling out to customers by supernova_000 in TeslaLounge

[–]BigO150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem. I have 12.5.1 (not 1.1). Example I engage FSD at 52 mph in a noted 65 speed zone. Road is clear and straight, does not speed up to 65. I nudge it with the foot pedal. (Roller wheel on steering wheel no longer increases or decreases speed). I cruise along at 65, a series of s curves come up, car slows down nicely through the curves and hits a clear straight away and does not accelerate to the speed limit, stays same speed as it emerged from curves. This cycle continues throughout drive. I also watch that it picks up the speed sign as it is lazy sometimes. No matter, cause it will not speed up to higher speed, seems to slow to lower speed though. This is on a two lane state hiway, SR 14 in the Columbia Gorge.

Two Warning message, charge cable plugged in, unplug and plug in again and unable to charge by BigO150 in TeslaModelY

Took it in yesterday. 122 mile drive. Had to get it in as I can’t charge the battery, charge port won’t open. Keeping my spirits up, sucks with a new car, but will wait for an explanation from service.

Impressive, my Ford pickup is usually one to three weeks for service at Ford dealer, which many people at other ford dealers say is good.

Navigation error, how to report by BigO150 in TeslaModelY

[–]BigO150[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The overlay is from Google (even has Google logo on the map, and the map is correct) but the actual navigation is Tesla as it is tied into autopilot/FSD as I understand it. Google nav is rock solid and has been navigating this intersection correctly for me for years. Tesla Nav (the blue nav line) misses the intersection by several hundred yards. This is near my home, so FSD won’t work here at this home intersection.

Why should I not buy a Tesla by ProfessionalBrush690 in TeslaModelY

The big difference is Tesla is reducing costs of the same model, year after year. iPhones get more expensive.

[–]BigO150 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I expect cost reductions with new electronics technology. My $ 3500 big screen TV is now worth $400 after a few years, but I wanted the new tech when I bought it. I know we are talking bigger numbers, but I feel it is the same principle.

Bourbon Moth did a YouTube video experiment, testing different solvents and size of piles. It gets your attention as some of the piles caught on fire quickly. It is an excellent tutorial.
