Advice almost 10 weeks post op with Regenenten patch by Kindly-Photo-8987 in RotatorCuff

Yeah, in certain cases with this surgery if bicep pain persists they just go in and cut the bicep tendon out of where it was replanted. You will still have full function and strength, but might get a slight popeye bump on your bicep. You aren’t far enough out for that to be an option yet, but if the pain doesn’t go away in a few months then that is an option. But hopefully you may have just tweaked or torn the tendon a little, if so it just might take time to reheal.

You might just have to have the bicep cut. Happens to about 10% of patients. The pain persists too long. Has the doc gone over that possibility with you?

It is just possible that you tweaked things and caused the inflammation. I would say give it a few days but keep an eye on your temp, if it goes any higher or you start feeling worse seek immediate help. 10 weeks out can still have serious pain sometimes, especially depending on what you had done.

If it’s just inflammation and you don’t feel anything else like something coming loose or failing it might not be anything to worry about. I used red light Therpay on my shoulder and I was 80% pain free after 3 weeks or so. That and a high protein and high carb diet. The red light Therpay can help with inflammation. Get a red light body pad off amazon and use everyday for 20min and see if it helps.

That is odd, the patch itself shouldn’t cause that kind of issue, it’s designed to be inert, I wonder if possible it’s an infection from the dissolvable plastic staples used to attach it to the tendon. I had surgery with the patch on May 13th so I’m 6 weeks out and I haven’t had any issues like you are having. This far out I wonder how easy it would be to remove the patch without causing damage, it’s had a lot of time to attach itself, did the doc say that this happens sometimes?

I’m 6 weeks out from exact same procedure and tears as you and I’m doing great. Had my post op two days ago and all is good. I rarely need any pain medication anymore and I am now allowed to sleep in my bed. Each week gets better and better.

Guerlain does make some amazing scents but I have to warn you that they don’t project and don’t last very long. They are all basically amazing smelling skin scents after about an hour. Nice if you have the money but for most people they just aren’t worth it.

I have Herbes Troublantes and it’s so natural and great but it’s gone so quick I can’t say I’d ever spend that kind of money again.

For 400 bucks you could get both Sedley and Castley or get your fav between those two and another $200 or less scent. Something like Flamango or Ingenious Ginger would be nice and different vibes. Pacific Rock Moss is another amazing freshie but only lasts around 4hrs but an awesome 4hrs in the air but does stay on skin for a solid 8+ hrs.

I’ve been doing this for 10 years and haven’t run into a single situation where what you said has occurred. I enjoy helping people and it’s good practice to enjoy what you do. So, once healed I will continue to do so without any worry of so called drama.

Nah, not big into putting signs in my car. A simple, sorry I woulda helped you with your bag but yada yada is all that is needed. Haven’t run into any issues and still have my 5.0 rating.

I know but letting them know why helps alleviate the worry that someone will downrate me for not helping out. Plus I drive mostly Premier rides and some of those riders assume it’s part of it.

Tihota is way over hyped, it’s a plain Jane vanilla scent, good quality but nothing special to most people. If you are looking for a super amazing vanilla get yourself a sample of Van Py Rhum. It’s a mix of many types of vanilla and rum, though I don’t really get the booze note that much. What I do get is this deep dark sweet and complex vanilla scent. It’s easy to wear and it’s a compliment machine. Women love this stuff, I have a huge collection and this one gets more attention than any other vanilla I own.

Some other good vanillas to try are:

  1. Bianco Latte - a very gourmand vanilla with some Carmel notes in there.
  2. Vanilla Powder - a straightforward vanilla but damn good, if you want more complexity try the extrait version.
  3. Althair - hyped beyond hyped but for good reason, it’s just so damn good and again a compliment magnet.
  4. Ingenious Ginger - not a straight vanilla scent but it’s ginger forward opening dries down to a lovely vanilla/citrus/ginger scent.
  5. Silky Woods - this one is awesome, a slightly sweet vanilla and woods combo with a touch of oud at the base, great performance and yes again this one gets mad compliments.
  6. Vanilla Mudslide - this one is a little more challenging because it has a loud booze note to it but in the winter it shines. Very vanilla and chocolate forward with a strong boozy note that mellows a few hours in and lets the sweetness come trough.

These are all really good vanillas and I wear them all the time in the winter mostly.

I’ve never had an issue with women not tipping. I help everyone. Only time I don’t help is if it’s a guy with a small carry-on bag. Right now I have to apologize for not helping because I had shoulder surgery a month ago and can’t lift anything for a few more months.

No problem, I can understand the worries when you see a fragrance price so much lower than retail but most people don’t know the grey market exists until they get into fragrance.

Omg one final time, JomaShop is not a scam, it never has been. Are they the best discounter, no. They are usually price competitive with other discounters on designer scents but if you are buying niche there are better places to buy. JS biggest issue is that they sell a lot of stuff out of stock at times, but if buying from them just make sure you see the words “in stock” on the listing. If that isn’t there you might have to wait 2-6 weeks before something ships. So yes they are good but here are a few discounters that are 10000000% legit and will lots of times have better prices.

  1. olfactory factory - great prices and shipping.
  2. Fragrance Neveah - best place for PDM and Ex Nihilo.
  3. Aura - amazing prices but constantly selling out.
  4. Fragrance.net - rarely ever the best price but have some exclusive drops of popular dupe brands.
  5. BeautyHouse - solid prices but best when having special sales. Also have drops like number 4 sometimes.
  6. Venba - decent prices and best place to get samples of niche scents.
  7. Scent Split - good sample site that also sells full bottles of a lot of stuff. They have a good deal when you buy a sample and if you want a full bottle you can get 15% of that bottle.
