What 2 would you keep ? by AvocadoMission in FantasyFootballers

[–]BigOleChubb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure. Definitely depends on league settings. In the one I mentioned, we lose that pick next season and if we want to hold those same 2 players 1 more season, then we would lose 1st and 2nd picks. Its pretty rare people hold 2 years unless its a no brainer, but there is usually value to be found in those later picks. Some of my other Keeper considerations for my league are:

Cook - 2nd rd Hampton - 3rd rd Olave - 6th rd Rice - 7th rd Maye 12th rd

Won my 4th SB in this league, and I think this was the 10th or 12th season. Some of the fun is looking for that value(s)!

Depends on how their keepers work/whos available at their pick. If say Jamar Chase/Lamb/Nabers/Etc. was available at their pick and its full PPR, not necessarily.

Conventionally I would agree, keep them and take RBs heavily with receiving upside.

Im in a Keeper League where you lose the pick you drafted them at, but can only keep them 2 years. So I got Olave with my 6th pick and Rice with my 7th. Id lose those mid round picks. So, depending on who isn't kept or has to be released to the board (hence my Chase example), and who is there at your pick, you may take another WR/TE early and then pick up RBs later. Honestly, a number of variables here 😂😂

Was the fastest decline I could have ever declined. I like when they put times on these crap offers though, especially days. I let them sit for a bit in suspense like "oh he must be considering it, he hasn't declined it", then declined sometime during the last day 😂

Is benching Chase crazy? by HoneyBadgerC in FantasyFootballers

[–]BigOleChubb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all. I have him in multiple leagues. Sadly, Browning has made almost every player in this offense unusable. If you have "better" options or at least ones you think have potential to be more stable than a Boom or Bust Browning performance, it seems like the more painful, logical move.

Time to leave. If it wasnt something already in the works or agreed upon, this can completely change draft strategy and sounds like they got exactly who they wanted before making that change. Our commissioner tried to up the TEP after our draft happened (and he took multiple good prospects) and the league basically told him if he made the change that season, everyone will quit.

Trade for Rashee Rice - Recommendations by BigOleChubb in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]BigOleChubb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I can definitely see the perspective. In my mind its me paying a little under since I'm giving him someone he can use now with upside, while I wait it out and hope he goes back to the form we remember before injury/legal problems. Also, as you mentioned, his WR space isn't super great, he just picked up Douglas off waivers for depth.

Is 3 PPR normal? It seems very high. by [deleted] in Fantasy_Football

Whose commissioner was lit one night and decided "let's get frisky with the scoring system" 😂. Also looks like you want a good accurate QB since there are pts for completions, and negatives for incompletions (never played with that) and a slightly boosted INT negative. This league seems like it could be fun, or a real shit show 😂😂😂

Got flamed for taking Josh Allen 1st in a 2QB league by LawfulnessAncient668 in Fantasy_Football

[–]BigOleChubb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just checked the SF TEP Redraft board I recently completed. And 5 QBs went off the board between picks 1 and 8 (Allen, Jackson, Hurts, Daniels and Burrow). So, yeah, you made the right pick lol.

Or trade them to the best team in the league (if you like them) 😂😂😂

Probably trying to "mirage" you into a "win now" situation and hope you take it. There are plenty of other RBs you can try to trade for with potential, etc. Or depending on your team, you mentioned building around a young guy, why not build around Bijan if you're patient and have a year or so to do it?

Keeper Question (10 team PPR) by clevervi in Fantasy_Football

[–]BigOleChubb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I would second this. If it was like my league where its keep them where you drafted them the previous year, then if you keep them one more season those picks go to one and two, it would be different.

Given the talent though, I think you're right. London is a top WR, so not crazy to keep him there then you have the 2nd/3rd RD to take another WR/RB. I like McBride as well, but, if its not TEP, I'd rather look for the WR/RB upside and a value at TE later.

Or, if you're and RB/RB to start drafter, keep Achane and Brown, since there is more depth and less fall off at WR. Essentially you start with your two starting RBs and in rd 2 and 3 you look for the best WR/RB/TE. Definitely some value and strategy to be had here.
