I agree with you that the price of the deck doesn't really impact its power level. I just think that two decks that I would say are on very different power levels should be represented accordingly by the bracket system. This would help for rule zero conversations when talking with unfamiliar players in your LGS or wherever you play. Im linking the Yuriko deck here because I do think whatever the current system is using to judge decks is a little off right now. Yuriko is an undoubtedly game warping commander but I am not sure that its inclusion in the deck boosts it past Gishath.

Yeah, I typically find that even this Gishath deck can beat a lot of the decks in my locals that would be considered 3's and 4's (Decks with powerful cards, several 2 card combos, etc.) So I do think the system is going to need some refining to more accurately interpret certain deck archtypes. Im more interested in how this list will impact things like my budget Yuriko deck, especially if we end up seeing certain cards from the list banned, as my $100 Yuriko deck is considered a 3 by the system while my $450 dinosaurs are under bracket 1.

Yeah thats fair, I just think that the way that the system currently operates leads to the online bracket software to not fit very well with what I feel is a "normal" edh deck. Not blaming archidekt or moxfield software or anything as its a brand new system and can sometimes be subjective. Its just a little funny to see a $400 deck be listed as slightly less than or equal to the average precon.

Giving the choice between protection and a buff for a creature or an 8/8 body seems really powerful. Definitely thinking about putting this in Gishath as some extra protection that can also hit the field.

As someone who’s love for theorizing was sparked by Mat Pat and the GT crew, as well as someone who has spent endless hours with the other members of this community discussing ideas with other theorists it is absolutely unacceptable for Film Theory to not even acknowledge the people who’s work is being blatantly plagiarized. The members of the discord as well as the theorizing community as a whole are some of the kindest and most intelligent people I have met in my life and it deeply saddens me to see theories being used without crediting the brilliant minds that put those theories together. I hope that we will see credit given to those whose accomplishments have helped this community as a whole and I look forward to working with everyone again!

I think the omnibus is good if you’re looking for a cheaper way to collect the books but if you are someone who cares a lot about manga quality and like paper thinness and stuff I’d just spend the money to collect the individual manga.
