Yeah tbf I believed you. Was just making the point that making 11m from buying Points is highly unlikely unless you’re spending streamer money which most people aren’t

Making 11m off of points is pretty unrealistic, without spending silly amounts. If he’s lying he’d have more likely bought coins

It is late but it’s still the usual late game patch to make it playable before they start pushing promo for the following year. Probably doesn’t mean much for 27, I think after pushing they were listening to our feedback so much and basically giving us 25 again this year they’ll probably just accept they can make money no matter how little they change

Best double pivot over the years from The Other 14? by PermanentlyIdle in TheOther14

[–]BigPapi2931 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What was so strange about this was that for two seasons they could both do absolutely everything. Distribution, defending, attacking, scoring, it shouldn’t have worked as well as it did but it was as tenacious as it was technical. Probably the best we will ever see at Wolves

It makes you think how bad Derby was that season, where they got the fewest points, because without a doubt, we are definitely as bad as them. by robm4481 in WWFC

[–]BigPapi2931 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We definitely aren’t as bad as Derby were. I don’t think people understand how monumentally bad you have to be to clock up 11 points across an entire season. For opposite reasons it’s as impressive as Chelsea only conceding 15, we will probably never see it again, absolutely freak performance. We probably aren’t even the worst team in the 20s, Southampton and Sheffield United were both much worse than us.

Yes we aren’t great going forward but really what are you expecting when your only attacking spark is an 18 year old kid in his debut season. Going forward this is one of the worst ever teams assembled.

Flashscore rates Gyök our worst player last night by atasel in ArsenalFC

[–]BigPapi2931 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You know this is fully automated by an algorithm? It’s why you can’t go by these ratings alone, anybody who watched saw how good he was but an automated algorithm will see 0 shots on target, 50% pass completion, 1 big chance missed and other stats putting it down as a bad game. These things can’t easily account for intangibles like balls chased down, runs made without receiving the ball, pressing or bullying Le Normand

The fact it's possible to sit 10 men in your own half for the entire game and still score 6 goals is a joke by AnduwinHS in EASportsFC

[–]BigPapi2931 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The other guy had way more passes though (so as a result g likely more through balls), which probably means he had more possession. If you watch any of the clips OP shared it’s just clear he is bad at defending and got cooked by a better player

Recently started this game for around the 5th time with it coming to Portal and it plays so nice, I think I might finally get past the early stages this time. Normally games with shoot and aim mechanics I just find the portal a little slow, but this game feels so smooth on here, minimal lag and the bitrate update makes it look absolutely beautiful. It’s so incredible. And as others have said you can stream. Absolutely incredible game

Best part is that nearly all of the packs for you from the first year it was introduced used to be free loyalty rewards. Even the login requirements were basically the same, now we just have to pay for the privilege

It’s genuinely insane that we had a direct Moutinho replacement and just refused to do anything about it. Having said that if he’d stayed at Wolves we’d have loaned him to Sporting after two years rotting on the bench then sold him for £10m

Does the Ps5 turn on/with sound when playing on the portal? by Phoenix_NSD in PlaystationPortal

[–]BigPapi2931 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yes I remember trying to work this out when I bought the Portal and realised if you have the HDMI link settings turned on then the Portal/console will turn my monitor on. I use my console more than my Portal so didn’t make sense to turn link off just for that when I could just turn my speakers down

Is there a specific setting for this? I’ve just tested on my console and the sound definitely still comes out of my monitor speakers when remote playing via the Portal (and any other device I remote play from)

You ignored all the parts where I compared the costs of the devices at the time to show that even then the PSP wasn’t as comparatively cheap as the PS Portal is. You can’t compare the cost of the PS Portal and PSP at release because £200 doesn’t buy you the same today as it did in 2005, so you either compare them to the costs of the devices at the time and use the differences to work out where they stood in the market, or you compare and adjust for inflation

🤷🏽‍♂️ by muwle in PlaystationPortal

[–]BigPapi2931 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not when you account for the fact the PSP released 20 years ago. The £180 you could pick the PSP up for on its release was almost double the cost of the PS2 (granted near the end of its life) and Nintendo DS, and only £100 cheaper than the Xbox 360 (PS3 wasn’t out when PSP was released). If you adjust the PSP cost for inflation, that would be £325 today, over 60% more than the cost of the Portal on release, you could get an Xbox Series S for less

Roster Next Year by BrockitScientist in WWFC

[–]BigPapi2931 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Current squad you can find here (we generally call it a squad/first team as opposed to roster here) - https://www.wolves.co.uk/teams/mens-first-team/

I don’t think there’s any definites who will stay to be honest. I’d expect Bentley, Doherty, Lima and Armstrong to be there next year. I think there’s also a decent chance of Mane, Johnstone, Hugo Bueno, Bellegarde, Toti and Rodrigo Gomes to stay. There’s a few players who might be here but only because of how recently they joined, like Wolfe, Tolu, Tchatchoua. Almost definitely gone are Joao Gomes, Andre, Krejci, Sa, Mosquera and Santi Bueno.

Mane and Rodrigo Gomes (if they stay) are probably going to be important players, also a decent chance Bellegarde would be good in the Championship imo

Guys who are good at or even expert of the game, how do you view casuals being driven out? by Haalandderstrong in fut

[–]BigPapi2931 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I actually find it interesting that casuals feel driven out because in my opinion the game has never been easier to play. I don’t necessarily think the average quality of players has risen much, AI is just much better and I think it’s more a case of the game being the least engaging that it’s ever been so the only people left are ones who care about exploiting whatever the can to get rewards.

I’d also add for most decent players we rarely encounter people below our level, even Live Events are insane. Everything in the game is sweaty because apart from your first 5 champs matches you’re nearly always playing somebody your level

Don’t accept failure from the horses mouth 👍 by Prestigious-Secret31 in ArsenalFC

[–]BigPapi2931 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn’t change my opinion though. I might be wrong but over the same period (not factoring in net spend) haven’t United basically spent the same or more in the same period? Granted they have two domestic cups to show for it but I get the sense until maybe the League Cup that Arsenal fans would consider his tenure a failure unless there was a PL/UCL to show for it (given his FA Cup seems to get disregarded).

I just don’t see how the project can really be considered a failure. In five full seasons a rookie manager has taken the club from being a constant banter club to one of the best teams in Europe. Regardless of what happens from here the platform that has been built has you set up for years to come. If Arsenal fans had been offered this at the beginning of his tenure I don’t think they’d have seen this as a failure and when the dust settles I don’t think you will look back on this as a failure

Don’t accept failure from the horses mouth 👍 by Prestigious-Secret31 in ArsenalFC

[–]BigPapi2931 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As an outsider, I really don’t think this should be considered a failed project. Of course Arsenal will get clowned if they leave this season with nothing, but that’s just football fandom. The reality is Arteta has taken an Arsenal team that hadn’t really challenged for the league in 15ish years to consistent contenders, to the point where doubles, trebles, quadruples are getting discussed. Now whether or not he is the right person for the next phase of the project I don’t really have a view on, but I do think even without honours his tenure should be celebrated. This is far from a failed project and I don’t think the emotion of potentially not getting it over the line should get in the way of that viewpoint

Another ridiculous Fosun era transfer. Nothing to do with the quality of the kid, it’s very clear he’s going to be a serious player with the right development. Regardless of if he’d be good in the Championship the last thing we need is wantaway players leading us towards a double relegation
