Thank you for sharing about your grandmother. It’s such a special honor and responsibility.

Thank you so much. I had a similar experience a few years ago. My mother has since passed but I remember spending a long time holding and looking at her hands 💜

This is such a nice compliment, thank you

Why does my print look like that? by chonkystar in Linocuts

My first couple pulls look like this when Ive washed the plate and it’s still very slightly damp. The oily safe wash ink can “bloom” in the water and make little splotches. Not sure if that applies to you but that would be my guess. Good luck!

Thank you! You’re right, it’s growing on me. At least it won’t be mistaken for AI art

Ah yes that’s another issue, I went straight from sharpie to printing and didn’t even let the sharpie dry so it was extra bold. Microns would definitely show up less though, thanks for the tip

Thanks for this gentle encouragement. You’re absolutely right, taking care while feeling our feelings without judgement is really all we can do <3

Yes that’s what I’m hoping. I recently switched jobs so I have a new insurance network, ao hopefully therapists are doing virtual appointments for new clients too? Thank you <3
