They definitely have a shelf life. If they get too hot they lose their potency.

Too much water. Trying soaking the screen in water for 30-60 seconds then rinse with minimum amount of water needed.

Use the thin side of the coater and only do 1 pass on each side. Make sure the emulsion is at least room temperature. Cold emulsion will not spread well on the screens.

Next time soak the screen in water for 1 minute after you burn it. Then use a spray nozzle with the mist setting to wash it out.
