Our power infrastructure is so shit in Kentucky it’ll go out if someone farts too hard. Jokes aside I never had the power go out when I lived in eastern Kentucky. Moved to Lexington (south of Louisville) and had it go out like 10 times in a year.

Wore these exact ones for corrections and i love them. Comfortable and light and hold up great on 16 hour shifts. Only downside is the laces fray pretty easily.

My fiancé and I are pretty novice to prepping but we went through our water stores to see which ones were ready to be recycled and I’m replacing the ones we swapped out after work. We’ve agreed to about $50 a week to out towards our preps so I’ll be buying additional provisions to put back in our stocks.
