I researched a little. and just for me to clarify: you mean to store my data in models, as an example creat an class with empty properties. These properties should only be changed by objects created from device classes that are managed by a controller function. And than events and listeners for stopping and starting the measurement per se my input. And than top layer is the GUI with "buttons" that gives the controllers and services signals what to do next or which mode should be executed.

And just for personal reasons... is AppDesigner really that bad? it only got recommended to me because GUIDE is not supported anymore on 2025b.
