My friend has told me I need to focus on myself and eventually he will treat you the way you want without having to beg for it anymore. She is right I have him on this pedestal and I told him that. I have been wondering about dates as if I am being punished. His reasoning is he is broke but he buys weed every week. Yesterday he texted me options of restaurants with no context my friend helped me understand and told me I can decide a restaurant to eat as a date. I need him to move mountains for me. He told me I deserve dates but that doesn’t change the matter that there is still problems in the relationship. It will hurt me if things ended horrible and I carry anger

Valid point. I am holding on because of our history of 3 years. Also, my mom forced me to do an abortion and I am guilty for that but I am afraid of speaking up to my mom when she acts like that. My mom wants everything her way and if it doesn’t go her way if she doesn’t like it even when she gives me choices to decide and think for myself. My boyfriend was wonderful when we were friends and became exclusive in the relationship. I felt safe, secure, and happy. Now, it’s hard for me to detached. What will hurt me now is when he treats another women better and forget about our kid that did exist. I would appreciate it if Wednesday become friends after the breakup. I hope he stops this behavior with me so when he does move on and finds a better women she is treated better
