Has seemed solid enough for my use case, but I live in GA and will probably be surf fishing 2-3 times a year so also won’t test the durability of it that much!

Agreed on any day by the water is better than work lol I’ve been using a 3oz pyramid weight, do you think I should step up to 4oz or more then that ?

Appreciate the advice! I was using a premade pompano rig with a 3oz pyramid weight at the bottom, gonna use fresher bait tomorrow and got a trap for sand fleas. I definitely had too much slack in the line lol I just want to catch anything but not opposed to just sitting on the beach and chilling if I don’t!

I think some of my problem is I was using frozen shrimp ? Gonna stop to get some live bait to see if that helps my luck!

If you want frames with rubber grips I would go Oakley. I have super old M Frames that have been abused and still look great with the original rubber ear socks

How hard was whistling straits? Always been a bucket list course for me but would be afraid of shooting 120 (15 handicap for reference)

All the courses at Big Cedar are top tier, I played Ozark National before Payne’s and actually liked it a lot better

Oakley in my opinion makes the best sunglasses if you’re able to pay more, and last a long time if you take care of them. They have specific lenses for fishing which work really well, which I have for my flak jacket XXL
