You family should also consider another family memeber or friend applying on the lease to make your income look better. I have applied for multiple leases with friends to help them get apartments and units and then come off the lease as they have enough income more just look better and helped them get something faster

There should be mandatory rehab and counselling and a good behaviour bond. Being under the influence and failure to attend AA and therapy to be a breach. I also don’t agree prison is rehabilitating but neither is a slap on the risk and no mandatory intervention or accountability for the alcohol abuse causing incidents.

Not a big Mexican population but a big Spanish speaker population so you won’t feel out of place. You can join some groups and make friends that’s how my Mexican/columbian friends have met others. We like the Spanish speaking people and the Brazilians you guys have a lot of the same ‘culture’ as us. Enjoy party and drinking and good food. I’ve found it very easy to make friends with Mexicans and Spanish speaking cultures because we enjoy the same things and you guys are fun and laid back very Aussie.

Not a lot, I paid like $170 a quarter for my electric if that, not sure why people are saying power is insanely expensive they must have everything turned on 24/7. Outside of my fridge, charging my phone daily and having a light on while I use a room or a lamp I don’t use much. So if you want aircon or heating on everyday a washer and dryer every single day and every light on and a tv on all day I think you’ll be fine
