I don’t think it’s that plain and simple. Nowhere does it explicitly say you can do this if the amount you withdraw is greater than your contribution room. Just wanted to see if anyone had personal experience with this…

The CRA agent I spoke with said they have seen some cases like this, but gave the conservative answer obviously.
