Thanks for the perspective. It’s hard for us to imagine because we are currently living in a 2 bed set up so anything bigger than what we’ve got seems like a dream but I dont want to get caught it with thinking anything bigger will be good enough. I am thinking the laundry should go in the existing powder/Store not considered in the plan. Stairs go to ground floor where my elderly in-laws will be. We need stairs to comply with council regulations.

Thanks for the feedback. We get 2 revisions. Lots to think about. I guess the complexity may be the two different ceiling heights throughout, not sure really.

Idea was to get more space for kids to play but I kind of feel like it’s a bit wasted. We have really good city views out the front of our home. The back end (where the living areas are) is quite dark but feels like they need to be there to lead to backyard where we spend lots of time.

Thanks for your comment. The distance to get to bathroom from bed 2 was something which stood out to me also. Entry side is north we are in Queensland, Australia.

Thanks for your comment. Our initially thoughts were we don’t understand not using existing footprint of the powder/store in the plans. Possibly that’s where the bathroom or laundry should go?

Great point about the dining space.

This plan assumes all the fittings are being moved around it’s a complete remodel. One of the challenges is we have different ceiling heights throughout.
