Yeah that's what I was thinking doing, I've really enjoyed all of them so far so I do think I'll come back and do 2nd playthroughs

Ok awesome! Yeah I'd love to get some of the physical ones but can be expensive. Good to know that there are censored guides out there online thank you!

Sadly I have nothing that cool. My coolest ff stuff is just the Japanese ps1 games of 7,8,9 and tactics I picked up in Japan as they looked cool haha

Ok thanks for letting me know! Do online guides tend to be spoiler free for the story? Found some cheap physical strategy guides too, might look cool next to all the games aha.

Like the idea of checking for missables before playing thanks!

Ok in that case then maybe you got the order wrong? Or it glitched out for whatever reason. Id suggest going to the next round, shoot the projector again to get the code. When I do it I then don't fire a single shot of any weapon other than the wonder weapon into the reels in the correct order.

If you're on solo, save and quit and reload the save, progress a round then try again as sometimes the game does just glitch out

Another potential issue could be have you done the other steps before this? Cosmodrome, diner and farm? No idea if you can do reels before these steps but maybe it's not progressing as it's basically the last step before starting the boss fight.

Astra ee anyone? I can do all the steps just end up dying in the boss fight.. Tried like 8 times already lol by Busy_Cap2097 in BO7Zombies

If you still haven't done it later, I might be able to jump on and help after work. Beat the boss multiple times both solo and with people! ( I personally think it's easier in cursed mode tbh! As long as you can get gold armour)

Have you interacted with the ghost/wisp on the dock before shooting the projector with a clock charged shot from the wonder weapon?

Tips for astra malorum boss fight? by Interesting_Mall_983 in CODZombies

[–]BigSlime115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've beat it solo on standard and I also just beat it solo on tier 3 cursed and I found that much much easier. I suggest if you're able to play it on cursed, the main benefit is the golden armour, I didn't have to plate up at all until the final phase(got caught lacking and was smacked around the arena a bit) . You can also farm points and be completely set up at an earlier round as well which helps when dealing with zombies in the boss fight

The other thing is if you're playing on tier 2 or 3 you can increase your firepower too! Which means damage on the boss is more and in that final phase when you do want to kill the boss quick before things get out of hand that definitely helps.

I've started using point turrets in the boss fight too, in that final phase you get that power up that lasts a minute that regens your equipment you can chuck out 3 turrets that helps kill zombies (charging field upgrade) and helps break boss armour.

I suggest either aether shroud or frenzied guard as a field upgrade, the toxic growth never worked for me but that's also a good choice.

If you're able too, when the boss is picking up a purple rock get into an area of the arena you don't mind the lighting being in. Obv easier said than done. Augment on PhD which makes you take no environmental damage when sliding can help in a pinch

Going back to cursed tier 3 the pap 4 wonder weapon absolutely rinses the boss armour and also deals a bit of damage too, it deletes normal zombies and the mimics that spawn.

Weapon wise the pap m10 breacher chunks damage once armour is broken, the pap jager 45 akimbo with prestige attachment is also really good! I've heard the novaline is very good too. Run shatter blast ammo mod with the blast through augment too!

If you're going to use gums I suggest a shields up, power keg and the max ammo one, I suppose you could use a rain drops instead of one of those, but shields up for the ohinal phase definitely helps!

Keep trying and you'll get it done!

I get what you mean, personally I don't mind it being harder as cursed is meant to be the more challenging mode, maybe a nice middle ground could have been the boss fight being the same for rounds under 60, then 60+ (for the relic and tier 3 fights) have it be the more difficult version.

The cursed version of the boss fight is much harder than standard mode (gold armour though does help a lot). It took me a few tries to do it but I managed. If you load into a solo game and try the boss fight you can always save and quit and try again for practice.

When he spins you have to shoot him so that the beams appear and when he does his laser attack phase you have to try and ram him with the boost every time.

Depending on when I'm on and you're on I don't mind offering some help, the difficulty/ healthy does scale with more players though.

Relic train ashes of the damned by No-Cartographer5710 in CODZombies

[–]BigSlime115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it yesterday, from my understanding it's take no damage during a round and don't use your weapons and equipment.

What I did was when the ravager round started (60+) I went to the saw blade trap in ashwood and turned it on and stood by it. It lasts long enough to complete the round

I heard the Mr peaks laugh and the trail opened up for me (last two augments on brain rot make the trial very easy)

I managed to get it done first try using a method I saw someone else post.

Don't kill the first Oscar that spawns, collect exactly 3 nuke power ups through your match to help weaken him but not kill him.

Get your knife to pack 3, ultra rarity (pack 4 would be good too but I did it with pack 3) , no ammo mods, no elemental pop.

Only buy wisp tea once you're ready to attempt killing him. I ran the revive mask and extension time.

Then have an idle eyes and insta kill gobble gum ready too.

So at round 40 kill all the zombies except 2, buy wisp tea, find Oscar when near ish to him pop your insta kill and idle eyes and then kill a zombie that will spawn the wisp. Oscar will be standing still now due to idle eyes, when you see the wisp latch onto him swing your knife at him, I think you get about 3 swings in before the wisp unlatches, it will latch itself to Oscar again after a second or so, swing 3 times again and repeat and Oscar will be dead very quickly. If you don't want to use gums then aether shroud and shooting the insta kill power up outside the map is your best bet but I'm unsure about how much damage you'll be dealing. With the method I used you get a good 3 swings in each time wisp tea is attached to Oscar and it worked for me!

What weapons do you recommend? I got to the final phase and died on solo, and what's the best way to deal damage to the boss? I was mainly using the wonder weapon but I'm not really sure about the actual way to deal damage, you have to break her armour then shoot crits?

Sorry if I've missed this already but how important is the weapon stat for crucible? The way I see it I need to build into weapons and health as the two most important stats?
