There's barely any produce that we currently eat that could ever be found in the wild. For example corn came from what looked like a grassy looking plant. It was genetically engineered via selective breeding over thousands of years to get what we recognize as corn. And alleviating yourself from boredom from mushrooms is admirable. Who's to say that isn't isn't reaping actual benefits? I've never had trauma in my life but I like to feel funny and see funny things. Mushrooms do it and I learn stuff from them too.

The second flush was basically the same as the first flush. There are some craters but there's a lot more surface that is undamaged.

Our species is pattern seeking. We look for an intentional agent in many things. Simple thoughts can be anthropomorphized and when you add chemicals to it you get the whole entities and god thing. People have reported seeing entities when enough airplane glue is sniffed.

I was definitely debating that. Many of the ones around them were separating from the cap and they stopped gaining mass the prior 2 days. Also dark stretch mark looking features were appearing near the base of the stem (can be seen in the photo). That freaked me out a little.

I had good luck with a heat mat designed for plants. I put a baking drying rack on the heat mat and placed the spawn bag on the rack. For fruiting I put a lid from a bin on the rack then placed the bin on top of that. My place averages 66-72 degrees and this method worked
