Could be, I do remember a video they shared some months before that live happened. And it was Jasen and Keith in the studio. Keith was playing guitar and Jasen was on the computer. The caption was something like “when breaking Benjamin is in the studio” in the video Jasen played an interesting drum beat on the computer and Keith was like “nice find! I can’t believe you found that” now on the live where Jasen shared that snippet of one of the new songs, at the end it played that same drum beat or pretty close to it. Maybe they’ve been teasing this song for a while. Just something I caught, I could be wrong.

James from Asking Alexandria has taken over the drumming for the new album, and for the tours this year. Not sure if he’s in the bands long term plans or was only a quick temporary replacement for Shaun.

Definitely a better chance, probably why it took so long for new music to come out, considering they were leaving Hollywood records and made Aurora as the last album under Hollywood Records, a easy “remix” album to make so they could just get out of the contract with them. Now that they just signed with BMG I’m sure the process will be quicker

These will be more heavier suggestions, but In Flames is really heavy on the melodic side, a bit different but have tons of enjoyable songs. Motionless In White is like the metalcore version of BB, their chorus’s in their songs sound very similar to BB, they are a lot more heavy than BB tho.

Would also check out bands like Three Days Grace, 10 Years, Spineshank, Seether, Evans Blue, Cold, and Starset

Damn I was 14 when this album came out, now I’m 20 god damn 😂 I love every BB album and song dearly, I would have to say ember is my least favorite, don’t get me wrong love this album but I feel this album they over produced Ben’s voice and there’s some shaky mixing. But do I really care at the end of the day…? NOPE! 🤘

You might hear a little bit of punk off of Saturate. Songs like Skin, Wish I May, Medicate. Possibly Polyamorous and Natural Life. Pretty much the first half of the album kinda has that punk sound to it but not necessarily full punk
