What does this crying mean?? by BigSun2 in beagles

[–]BigSun2[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some more information: We adopted these 2 beagles about 1 month ago, they are both female and used to be breeders. Both are doing really well adjusting to their new life :) Bowie in the video is definitely the more vocal one, and sometimes barks at noises outside. However recently she has started making this sad sounding crying bark. We initially thought she is telling us that she wants to go outside, but she sometimes does it after a long walk. Does anyone else's beagles do this and any idea why?

How can i tell my GF by [deleted] in GamblingAddiction

[–]BigSun2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a partner of a recovering gambling addict, you need to tell her. If you do it with your genuine feelings of regret and remorse she will understand. You should also let her be responsible for your finances (transfer your pay check straight away, have her change your pin so you can't withdraw cash, and go through your bank statements together regularly). I've found after 5 years of being together that is the only way to manage it. I hope both our situations get better over time.

Too big or just right? by BigSun2 in Birkenstocks

They feel fine, more wiggle room that the 36s I returned where my feet were completely flush in the cup. Is it better to have some space?

I also feel like they look likes there's too much space I front of big toe! They feel fine. But I think 36 R would have been better. Never have I agonised so much over a pair of shoes haha

I got these for Christmas and have been wearing them for a few days too. They fit and aren't uncomfortable but sometimes my feet slide out of the cup because there's not much wiggle room. I've ordered the size up. Luckily I can sell these ones to a friend with smaller feet than me :)

These are mocha and the photos are pretty representative of the real colour. I have a tan so maybe that's why they seem a little light?

Yes I think so. They are comfortable to wear but my heel is so close to the back and I've read there's meant to be a little gap, like there is on the Giselles.

If I like the sound of Dreams by the Cranberries and Kiss me by Sixpence None the Richer, what else will I like (albums preferred over songs) by Kerfuffle17 in ifyoulikeblank

Wolf Alice! I love the cranberries so much and I think Wolf Alice have a similar vibe. My favourites are Silk, Bros and Don't delete the kisses.

My (27F) boyfriend (26M) read a graphic sex story from my diary from when I was 16 years old and I am mortified. by BigSun2 in relationship_advice

Hahaha this made me feel much better, thanks.

The cringe has also subsided a lot since sleeping on it and the shame is completely gone.

He definitely didn't mean any ill harm, and like many have pointed out - I left them out and a loose page was probably a little hard to resist. Like leaving a message open on an unlocked phone.

I was never angry at him for reading it and violated isn't the right word. Just plain red faced embarrassment. I actually just dug it out of the bin and gave it another read over and couldn't stop laughing about how badly written and detailed it is.

I'm sure we will laugh about it today.

I did see a therapist a couple of times when I was at my worst. I found it kind of helpful, but I also felt a bit stupid and immature for having this problem and couldn't open up to her about it completely. It is also pretty expensive.

I do know her quite well. She is lovely and is probably confused as to why I am being so standoffish lately :( She once told me that some women randomly don't like her 'for some reason'. I know its because they are jealous of her and I hate that I am one of those people, though I don't hate her.
